Community Connections at Innisfree

We might live in the country but that doesn’t stop us from enjoying creating friendships with local organizations and friends! Many Innisfree folks were out and about this spring dancing, enjoying time outside, and forming new friendships. We are so grateful for out community connections both right next door and even from a state over! Please enjoy these photos of what we’ve been up to out and about this past month.

Below: Night to Shine is always a favorite event! Back in March, community members got all gussied up for a night of dancing at Cornerstone Church of Augusta.

Below. For the third year, Waldorf students from North Carolina came to Innisfree for a week from April 28th-May 2nd and set up camp. They hosted art workshops, spent time with volunteers, coworkers, and of course animals. They also helped us with projects like sprucing up our LOVE sign and cleaning out old furniture! Thank you Waldorf students!

Below: The UVA Best Buddies program hosted their annual Friendship Walk on Sunday, April 13th. We had a great time exercising together outside and a few Innisfree volunteers even showed up on wheels!
