Support Our Mission

Your generosity allows those whom we serve the ability to live a life of freedom, possibilities, and purpose…

Charitable gifts made to Innisfree Village provide critical financial resources to our lifesharing community and our mission in support of adults with intellectual disabilities. Fees paid annually by our co-worker’s families do not cover the full costs to operate Innisfree Village. We rely on the generosity and benevolence of parents, grandparents, extended family, friends, foundations, and corporations to provide a safe environment where adults with intellectual disabilities can flourish and live life to its fullest.

Innisfree Village is proud to be a part of the 2025 Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign (CVC) which is the annual charity drive for the employees of the Commonwealth of Virginia. The Campaign launches on October 1, 2025 and concludes December 31, 2025. You can read more about it here.

The first time I made the drive out to Innisfree, the fall leaves blanketing the mountains, the ducks paddling across the pond, the cows ambling over the pastures - I wanted to live there! When Max became a day co-worker, he immediately took to it, and we could see that he felt part of something larger.

My daughters share their lives with other co-workers, and volunteers who come from all around the world. Emma and Maggie don’t always have the verbal skills to tell you about their lived experiences at Innisfree Village’s life-sharing community, but all can see their enormous smiles and excitement, and the love they have for everyone.

On a daily basis, Kevin is learning to become more independent, while also connecting and working with those around him. This has given Ann and me a sense of peace about Kevin’s future — both now and beyond our time on this Earth with him.
