The Innisfree Woodshop: Past, Present, and Future!
Innisfree’s Woodshop has been in operation for 40 years, seeing through the decades the coming and going of hundreds of volunteers, coworkers, and a few workstation heads. One thing that has remained through the years is the output of quality handmade items from cutting boards to cooling racks, butter knives, spoons, and even wood-turned bowls and bottle openers. Folks who come through the woodshop are encouraged to take part in the production of these items and each step is equally important. The continued success of Innisfree’s Woodshop relies on dedicated woodworkers who come through the workstation each week, a fearless leader (currently one Luis Barrera), quality wood and now- top of the line equipment! We are so grateful to those who donated during last year’s campaign and helped to make this a reality. Please enjoy these “throwback” photos of the rich history of Innisfree’s Woodshop and current photos of what we’re up to these days!

And now, moving in the new equipment!
We are excited to put the new equipment to work and create in a safer, more productive Woodshop!
